Stardew Valley Green Rain Database
Green Rain weather event records for possible Summer dates, Moss, Fiber, Mossy Seeds, Green Rain Trees, Fiddlehead Fern, villager schedule changes, valley sweep order, and 1.6 post-rain resource planning.
Green Rain Date Window
Weather / Summer 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 16, 18, or 23
Green Rain happens once each Summer and is chosen from a small set of possible dates. Treat those dates as flexible harvest days so the farm can pivot when the weather report turns green.
Moss and Fiber Priority Route
Foraging / Moss, Fiber, Mixed Seeds, and Foraging XP
The best Green Rain day usually starts with fast weed and moss cleanup. Moss feeds Speed-Gro, Mushroom Logs, Deluxe Bait, Treasure Totems, Blue Grass Starter, Raccoon trades, and late-game 1.6 crafting.
Mossy Seed Farm Setup
Trees / Mossy Seeds and permanent Green Rain Trees
Mossy Seeds can come from Green Rain Trees and Large Weeds, then grow into one of the Green Rain Tree variants. Plant the seeds where future moss and tree drops will be easy to harvest.
Green Rain Tree Variants
Trees / Three variants, temporary trees, moss trees, and type 3 fern trees
Green Rain Trees are not only scenery. Different variants support moss routes, seed hunting, or Fiddlehead Fern collection, so decide whether each tree should be shaken, tapped, preserved, or chopped.
Fiddlehead Fern Route
Forage / Chef's Bundle, cooking, tailoring, and Green Rain Tree type 3
Fiddlehead Fern normally points players toward Secret Woods, Skull Cavern, dangerous Mines, or Ginger Island. Green Rain adds a 1.6 route through type 3 Green Rain Trees and their tapper output.
Villager Schedule and Gift Rules
Social / Year 1 indoor reactions and gift interruption
Green Rain changes social routing more than ordinary rain. Use the day for resource gathering first, then handle conversations and building checks only when they fit the event rules.
Valley Sweep Order
Route / Farm, Cindersap Forest, Mountain, town edges, and return loop
A strong Green Rain day moves through dense outdoor regions instead of checking every screen equally. Start where weeds and trees are clustered, then use remaining time for lower-density paths.
Post-Rain Conversion Plan
Planning / Crafting, Raccoon trades, Mastery, and tree layout
After Green Rain, turn the new stockpile into route progress: plant Mossy Seeds, reserve Moss for Raccoon and crafting needs, and convert extra Fiber and seeds into farm infrastructure.
