Stardew Valley Tent Kit Database

Tent Kit records for Stardew Valley 1.6 outdoor sleeping, Foraging Level 8 crafting, 10 Hardwood, 25 Fiber, 1 Cloth, 3x2 placement, next-day festival restrictions, Trout Derby prize, Ginger Island jungle box, Island Field Office backup, multiplayer use, and late-night route saves.

Foraging Level 8 Craft

Craft / 10 Hardwood, 25 Fiber, 1 Cloth, and Foraging Level 8 recipe unlock

Tent Kit is crafted after Foraging Level 8 with 10 Hardwood, 25 Fiber, and 1 Cloth. It is a one-use emergency sleep tool, so craft it only when the route value beats the material cost.

Outdoor Sleep Rules

Use / Outdoors only, 3x2 placement, same-location wakeup, save on sleep, and consumed tent

Tent Kit can only be used outdoors. Select the lower-left corner of a 3x2 area, sleep like a farmhouse bed, save the game, and wake at 6am in the same location after the tent disappears.

Festival and Map Restrictions

Restrictions / Indoor errors, insufficient space, next-day festival blocks, and mine restrictions

Tent Kit fails if used indoors, in a mine-style interior, without enough space, or when the next day is a festival on that map. Check tomorrow's calendar before using a tent as a remote sleep plan.

Free Source Route

Sources / Trout Derby first prize, 3 Ginger Island jungle kits, and Island Field Office backup

Tent Kits are not only crafted. One is the first Trout Derby prize, three are found in a Ginger Island jungle box, and Professor Snail can give one from Mummified Bat donation if Golden Joja Parrot already handled the normal reward route.

Late-Night Route Saves

Strategy / Ginger Island, Volcano, Skull Cavern exits, fishing festivals, and remote farming

Tent Kit is strongest when same-location wakeup creates a second productive day: Ginger Island work, volcano routing, remote forage loops, fishing event pressure, or deep late-night errands away from the farmhouse.

Multiplayer and Inventory Planning

Multiplayer / Multiple players can use one tent, single-use item, inventory slot, and shared farm coordination

In multiplayer, multiple people can use a tent at once. Coordinate who carries the kit, when the farm commits to sleeping away from home, and which inventory slot is worth spending on emergency sleep.
