Dwarvish Translation Guide Route

矮人语翻译指南路线

Donate all four Dwarf Scroll artifacts to the Museum to receive the Dwarvish Translation Guide. It lets the player understand the Dwarf in The Mines, the Volcano Dungeon Dwarf, and the rightmost Graveyard gravestone.

Artifact / Any Mines or Skull Cavern tilling, plus early monster drops

Dwarf Scroll I

矮人卷轴 I

Dwarf Scroll I can come from tilling in The Mines or Skull Cavern on any floor, or from several early mine monster drops. It is often found naturally while pushing early floors and clearing dirt patches.

Artifact / Mines floors 1-39 tilling and Ghost, Frost Bat, Dust Sprite, Blue Slime drops

Dwarf Scroll II

矮人卷轴 II

Dwarf Scroll II is tied to early mine soil and several cave enemies. Floors 1-39 are the tilling band, while Ghosts, Frost Bats, Dust Sprites, and Blue Slimes can also drop it.

Artifact / Monster drops, especially Blue Slime odds

Dwarf Scroll III

矮人卷轴 III

Dwarf Scroll III is primarily a monster-drop chase. Several monsters can drop it, with Blue Slimes listed as the stronger 1.5% source compared with common 0.5% drops.

Artifact / Mines floor 80+ tilling, most monster drops, and elevator loops

Dwarf Scroll IV

矮人卷轴 IV

Dwarf Scroll IV can be found by tilling in The Mines on floor 80 or deeper, and can also drop from most monsters with some exceptions. Floor 95 is especially useful because it has tillable soil near the entrance.

Farming Route / Tilled soil near elevator entrances for repeat scroll attempts

Floor 15, 55, and 95 Farming

15、55、95 层刷卷轴路线

The wiki notes floors 15, 55, and 95 have tillable soil near the entrance. Revisit them with the elevator to quickly reset and till for Dwarf Scroll I and IV attempts while also gathering cave resources.

Shop / Mines Dwarf, blocked entrance, Dwarvish language, bombs, and Rarecrow #6

Dwarf Shop Access

矮人商店解锁

The Mines Dwarf is behind a rock near the mine entrance. Break it with at least a Steel Pickaxe or a Cherry Bomb, then use the Dwarvish Translation Guide to talk, gift, and shop.

Late Game / Volcano Dungeon floor 5, rightmost Graveyard stone, and 1.5/1.6 routing

Volcano Dwarf and Graveyard Uses

火山矮人与墓地用途

The Dwarvish Translation Guide is also required to communicate with the Volcano Dungeon Dwarf on floor 5 and to read the rightmost gravestone in the Graveyard. In 1.6, the guide is tracked in the Special Items & Powers tab.
