Heavy Furnace can also run 5 Quartz or 5 Fire Quartz with 3 Coal. Quartz yields 5-6 Refined Quartz, while Fire Quartz yields 15-20 Refined Quartz for sprinkler, crystal path, and crafting stockpiles.

Checklist
- Batch Quartz when Refined Quartz is blocking sprinklers, Lightning Rods, or crystal paths.
- Save Fire Quartz for larger Refined Quartz bursts instead of treating it like a small mineral sale.
- Keep a regular Furnace nearby if only one or two Quartz pieces need processing.
