Year 3 Evaluation

Grandpa returns at the start of Year 3 to evaluate the farm. The result lights one to four candles around Grandpa's Shrine based on a 21-point milestone system, with 12 points required for all four candles.
Earnings Points
Scoring / 50k, 100k, 200k, 300k, 500k, and 1,000,000g thresholds
Total earnings can provide up to 7 evaluation points. The 1,000,000g threshold alone adds two points, so ordinary farm economy can cover a large part of the four-candle route.
Skill and Achievement Points
Scoring / 30 total skill levels, 50 total skill levels, museum, Master Angler, and Full Shipment
Skill levels and major collection achievements provide reliable evaluation points. A balanced farmer can gain points from 30 total skill levels, all skills at 10, museum completion, Master Angler, and Full Shipment.
Friendship and Family Points
Scoring / Marriage, house upgrades, 5 villagers, 10 villagers, and pet friendship
Friendship scoring rewards a social farm: marriage with kitchen and nursery upgrades, at least eight hearts with five and ten villagers, and high pet friendship can each help light more candles.
Key and Community Points
Scoring / Skull Key, Rusty Key, Community Center, and ceremony points
Several high-value points come from unlock routes: Skull Key from The Mines, Rusty Key from museum donations, Community Center completion, and the Community Center ceremony.
Diamond Re-Evaluation
Retry / Diamond offering, post-Year-3 retry, and next-day evaluation
If fewer than four candles are lit, place a Diamond into Grandpa's Shrine to request re-evaluation. This keeps the Statue Of Perfection route open after the initial Year 3 evaluation.
Statue Of Perfection
Reward / Four candles, shrine interaction, and 2-8 daily Iridium Ore
After all four candles are lit, interact with Grandpa's Shrine to receive the Statue Of Perfection. The statue cannot be sold and produces 2-8 Iridium Ore per day.
Evaluation vs True Perfection
Clarification / Grandpa's Evaluation, Qi Perfection Tracker, and separate statue rewards
Grandpa's Evaluation is a 12-point four-candle farm rating, while True Perfection is the Qi Walnut Room 100% tracker. Statue Of Perfection and Statue Of True Perfection are different rewards with different requirements.
