Access / 10 Golden Walnuts for Island West before farmhouse repair
The Island Farmhouse cannot be reached until Island West is open. Pay the turtle-route parrot 10 Golden Walnuts, then use the west side as the staging area for the farm, farmhouse, Gourmand Frog, Birdie, Qi Room, and Parrot Express routes.
Repair Island Farmhouse
Unlock / 20 Golden Walnuts, immediate repair, bed, kitchen, and shipping bin
Repairing the Island Farmhouse costs 20 Golden Walnuts and happens immediately. The repaired house adds a kitchen, Tropical Bed for each player, and an outside Shipping Bin, letting the player sleep and ship goods on Ginger Island.
Year-Round Island Farm
Farming / 876 plantable tiles, any-season crops, sprinklers, fruit trees, and no crows
The Ginger Island farm works like a tropical Greenhouse-scale field: crops from any season can grow regardless of mainland season, sprinklers can be placed, fruit trees can be planted, and crows do not spawn there.
Farmhouse Mailbox
Upgrade / 5 Golden Walnuts and island mail access
After the farmhouse is repaired, the mailbox upgrade costs 5 Golden Walnuts. It lets the player access mail from the island, and undelivered mail can be retrieved from either mailbox regardless of where the player slept.
Farm Obelisk
Upgrade / 20 Golden Walnuts after farmhouse and mailbox
With the farmhouse repaired and mailbox built, the parrots can build the Farm Obelisk for 20 Golden Walnuts next to the farmhouse. It instantly returns the player to the mainland farm and pairs with the mainland Island Obelisk for two-way travel.
Gourmand Frog Base
Puzzle / Farmhouse repair unlocks the northeast farm cave
After the parrots repair the Island Farmhouse, the Gourmand Frog cave appears in the northeast of the Island Farm. Grow Melon, Wheat, and Garlic on the island farm and show each mature crop unharvested for 15 Golden Walnuts total.
Long Island Days
Planning / Sleep, ship, cook, store, and route without returning to the valley
The repaired farmhouse turns Ginger Island from a day-trip location into a long-session base. Use it to chain farm harvests, Volcano runs, fossil checks, Parrot Express stops, Walnut Room errands, and Resort or Pirate Cove cleanup.
