Stardew Valley Island Farmhouse
Island Farmhouse guide for Stardew Valley Ginger Island farm repair, 20 Golden Walnut cost, year-round island crops, shipping bin, kitchen, Tropical Bed, mailbox, Farm Obelisk, Gourmand Frog, Island Resort prerequisite, and long island-day route planning.
Quick facts
The Island Farmhouse costs 20 Golden Walnuts after Island West is unlocked.
Repair adds an island bed, kitchen, Tropical Bed for each player, and a Shipping Bin outside.
After repair, the mailbox costs 5 Golden Walnuts and the Farm Obelisk costs 20 Golden Walnuts after the mailbox.
Turn Ginger Island into a base
The repaired farmhouse changes Ginger Island from a day trip into a second operating base with sleep, shipping, cooking, storage, and long-session route planning.
- Repair it after Island West access when Volcano, farm, and walnut routes need longer days.
- Use the island bed to avoid late-night pass-outs and mainland travel loops.
- Use the shipping bin for crops, forage, fish, and Volcano loot.
Build the island economy
Island West farming supports any-season crops, tropical fruit trees, Gourmand Frog rewards, and later travel upgrades through mailbox, Farm Obelisk, Parrot Express, and Island Resort planning.
- Use sprinklers and regrow crops because crows do not spawn on the island farm.
- Grow Melon, Wheat, and Garlic for Gourmand Frog after the farmhouse is repaired.
- Add mailbox and Farm Obelisk once long island days become routine.
