Seed Spot Rules

Seed Spots are hoeable tiles that give 2-3 seasonal 1.6 seeds. They can appear in tillable fallow areas, including Ginger Island, and are distinct from ordinary Artifact Spot routing.
Seasonal Date Windows
Calendar / Winter 21 through next Winter 20 seed cycle
Seed Spots use date windows rather than only the current named season: Carrot Seeds run Winter 21-Spring 23, Summer Squash Seeds Spring 24-Summer 20, Broccoli Seeds Summer 21-Fall 20, and Powdermelon Seeds Fall 21-Winter 20.
New 1.6 Crop Route
Crops / Carrot, Summer Squash, Broccoli, and Powdermelon
The four Seed Spot crops cover every season and fill gaps that older crop routes did not touch, especially Winter farming through Powdermelon and regrow planning through Summer Squash and Broccoli.

The Raccoon Wife shop gives reliable access to all four Seed Spot crops: Carrot Seeds for Maple Seed, Summer Squash Seeds for Sap, Broccoli Seeds for Moss, and Powdermelon Seeds for Pine Cones.

Seed Spots are the cleanest discovery route, but 1.6 seeds also connect to Raccoon requests, Golden Fishing Treasure Chests, Seed Maker loops, Prize Machine rewards, Mystery Boxes, breakable containers, and some monster drops.

Winter / Powdermelon Seeds, 7-day growth, and giant crop layouts
Powdermelon makes Winter farming more active in 1.6. Plan a watered field, save Fall 21-Winter 20 seed sources, and use 3x3 blocks when giant crop attempts fit the farm route.
