Rusty Key Unlock
Access / 60 Museum donations and two sewer entrances
The Sewers unlock after the Rusty Key is obtained from Gunther, which happens after donating 60 artifacts or minerals to the Museum. Enter through Pelican Town's sewer cover or the Cindersap Forest grates.
Krobus Shop
Shop / Always-open rare goods and weekly routing
Krobus' shop is always open once the Sewers are unlocked. Plan fixed purchases such as the Stardrop, Void Egg, Crystal Floor recipe, Wicked Statue recipe, Wizard Catalogue, and Return Scepter alongside rotating stock.
Stardrop and Return Scepter
Purchases / Energy and late-game travel value
Krobus sells one Stardrop for 20,000g and one Return Scepter for 2,000,000g. The Stardrop is a completion and energy priority, while the Return Scepter is a late-game quality-of-life purchase.
Statue Of Uncertainty
Utility / Profession reset for 10,000g
The Statue Of Uncertainty in the Sewers lets the player change chosen professions for 10,000g. Choose a skill, sleep, then reselect the level 5 and level 10 profession path.
Dark Talisman Route
Quest / Railroad trigger, Krobus gate, and Wizard ink chain
After completing the Community Center or Joja development path, entering the Railroad can start the Wizard's Dark Talisman chain. Speak with Krobus in the Sewers to open the passage to the Mutant Bug Lair.
Mutant Bug Lair
Combat / Dark Talisman chest, Mutant Grubs, Mutant Flies, and Slimejack
The Mutant Bug Lair is entered from the northwest Sewers during Dark Talisman. Prepare for Mutant Grubs and Mutant Flies, retrieve the talisman chest, and return later for Slimejack or cave insect goals.
Sewer Fishing
Fishing / Mutant Carp, Radioactive Carp, Carp, algae, and trash
The Sewers contain Mutant Carp, one of the legendary fish, plus Radioactive Carp for the Legendary Fish II route. Carp, Green Algae, White Algae, and Trash are the other sewer catches.
Krobus Roommate Bridge
Friendship / Gifts, birthday, Void Ghost Pendant, and roommate planning
Sewer access turns Krobus into a steady friendship route. Use loved gifts such as Pumpkin, Void Egg, Void Mayonnaise, Diamond, or Wild Horseradish, then connect 10 hearts to the Void Ghost Pendant roommate path.
