Stardew Valley The Sewers
The Sewers guide for Stardew Valley Rusty Key unlock, 60 Museum donations, Pelican Town and Cindersap Forest entrances, Krobus shop, Stardrop, Return Scepter, Statue Of Uncertainty, Mutant Bug Lair, Dark Talisman, and sewer fishing.
Quick facts
The Sewers unlock after receiving the Rusty Key for 60 Museum donations.
Krobus' shop is always open and sells rare fixed stock, rotating stock, one Stardrop, and the Return Scepter.
The Sewers connect to the Statue Of Uncertainty, Mutant Bug Lair, Dark Talisman quest, Mutant Carp, and Radioactive Carp.
Unlock and spend well
The Rusty Key makes the Sewers a daily utility hub. Route Museum donations toward the key, then budget the Stardrop, recipes, Void Egg, Friday Iridium Sprinkler, and late Return Scepter.
- Donate 60 artifacts or minerals to trigger Gunther's Rusty Key reward.
- Use both town and forest sewer entrances as route shortcuts.
- Buy the Stardrop before treating Krobus only as a rotating-stock vendor.
Connect late-game routes
The Sewers also support profession resets, Wizard quest progression, and legendary fishing. Dark Talisman opens the Mutant Bug Lair, while the Statue Of Uncertainty lets a save pivot professions.
- Use the Statue Of Uncertainty when a profession no longer matches the farm economy.
- Talk to Krobus during Dark Talisman to open the northwest Mutant Bug Lair passage.
- Return for Mutant Carp, Radioactive Carp, Slimejack, and cave insect cleanup.
