Stardew Valley Scarecrow Range and Layout Guide
Regular Scarecrows and Rarecrows protect the same 8-tile radius, while Deluxe Scarecrows double that radius to 16 and cover 888 tiles. Ginger Island crops do not need scarecrows because there are no crows there.

Checklist
- Use normal Scarecrows or Rarecrows for early fields after Farming level 1.
- Replace dense fields with Deluxe Scarecrow coverage once the recipe is unlocked.
- Do not waste scarecrow space on Ginger Island farm layouts.
