Regular Scarecrows and Rarecrows protect a radius of 8 tiles, while Deluxe Scarecrows double the radius to 16 tiles.
Museum Rarecrows can be replaced at the Night Market after their first copies have been earned.
Collect across the whole year
Rarecrow completion is a calendar route. The collection asks for Spring Flower Dance, Fall Fair, Spirit's Eve, winter Festival of Ice or cart checks, plus Casino, Dwarf, and Museum progress.
- Buy festival Rarecrows before leaving each event because missed shops often cost a year.
- Separate gold, Star Tokens, Qi Coins, artifacts, and total Museum items in the checklist.
- Use the Traveling Cart and Festival of Ice as two ways to solve Rarecrow #4.
Turn collection into layout power
Rarecrows themselves protect crops like normal scarecrows, but the real farm-layout payoff is the Deluxe Scarecrow recipe after the full collection.
- Wait for the Z.C. Rarecrow Society letter after all 8 are obtained.
- Craft Deluxe Scarecrows with Wood, Iridium Ore, and Fiber.
- Skip scarecrows on Ginger Island because crows do not attack crops there.
