Choosing machines
Machine choice depends on crop value, processing time, and how often you want to interact with the farm. Kegs scale high-value fruit; jars are compact and flexible; animal processors create daily cash flow.

- Use preserves jars when lower-value crops need a faster upgrade.
- Use cheese and mayonnaise machines to avoid selling raw animal products too early.
Layout and timing
Processing is a logistics problem. Place machines near inputs, keep paths readable, and avoid more machines than you can reasonably fill.
