Stardew Valley Crafting Recipes

Crafting guide for recipe unlocks, materials, completion tracking, advanced crafting options, and perfection planning.

Quick facts

Crafting creates items from learned recipes and consumed materials.
The player starts with several basic recipes and learns more from skills, shops, friendship, festivals, quests, and late-game unlocks.
Crafting every item is a major perfection requirement and is easier with advanced crafting information enabled.

Unlock tracking

Crafting completion has two jobs: learn every recipe, then craft each one. Missing vendor or festival recipes are common late-game blockers.

  • Check skill unlocks, shop recipes, event recipes, island recipes, and friendship recipes.
  • Turn on advanced crafting information to see whether each item has been crafted.
  • Keep rare materials in a labeled chest so completion runs do not cannibalize farm upgrades.

Material economy

Crafting competes with buildings, tools, machines, and quests. Completion goes smoother when resources are grown deliberately instead of gathered at the end.

  • Wood, hardwood, fiber, coal, bars, and batteries become recurring bottlenecks.
  • Machine recipes should match the farm economy rather than sit unused.
  • Late-game recipes often connect Ginger Island, Qi, and special vendors.
