Stardew Valley Desert Festival
Desert Festival guide for Spring 15-17 Bus access, Calico Eggs, Calico Egg Merchant stock, villager shops, Skull Cavern quests, Willy fishing quests, Scholar answers, races, chef buffs, and daily routing.
Quick facts
The Desert Festival runs every Spring 15-17 in Calico Desert after the Bus is repaired.
Calico Eggs are physical festival currency that carry between the three event days but disappear after the festival ends.
Time continues during the event, and animals still need normal daily care.
Three-day route
The festival rewards planning more than wandering. Check shops and quick daily rewards first, then spend the rest of the day on Skull Cavern, fishing, races, or egg spending.
- Spring 15 is the setup day: shop sweep, Scholar attempt, Sandfish quest, and first cavern run.
- Spring 16 is the fishing check day if Scorpion Carp is realistic.
- Spring 17 is the final spending day because unused Calico Eggs disappear after the event.
Best egg sources
Calico Eggs come from multiple systems, but Skull Cavern and one-time quest rewards usually decide whether expensive shop items are realistic.
- Marlon's Skull Cavern quests pay 35-50 eggs and stack with cavern egg nodes and drops.
- Willy's daily quests pay 25, 50, and 30 eggs across the three days.
- Scholar pays 50 eggs once per year for a perfect four-question round.
