Stardew Valley Fruit Trees Guide
Fruit Trees guide for sapling prices, 28-day growth, 3x3 spacing, Greenhouse border planting, quality aging, island trees, gifts, bundles, and artisan goods.
Quick facts
Fruit Trees take 28 days to mature and then produce one fruit per day in season.
Each tree needs a clear 3x3 planting area until mature, and nearby fruit tree zones cannot overlap.
Fruit quality rises with tree age, and 1.6 changed chopped fruit trees to return matching saplings.
Planting rules
Fruit Trees reward early planning because they spend a full season growing. Plant them before the production season or place them in the Greenhouse border for year-round fruit.
- Keep the 3x3 area clear until the tree is fully grown.
- Plant Greenhouse trees around the exterior region, not in the blocked corners.
- Use Apple and Pomegranate for bundle coverage when the Community Center is still open.
Quality and value
Fruit tree fruit improves over time. Higher-quality fruit supports better selling, gifting, and processing, while greenhouse trees remove the seasonal wait.
- Older trees produce higher-quality fruit after maturity milestones.
- Fruit can accumulate for up to three days before harvest.
- Banana and Mango are island trees with special Ginger Island value.
