Stardew Valley Locations
Location guide for Pelican Town, the Farm, Beach, Mountain, Desert, Ginger Island, mines, shops, and route planning.
Quick facts
Locations define shop access, character schedules, fish pools, forage tables, quests, and travel friction.
Major progression unlocks add new regions such as Calico Desert and Ginger Island.
Good route planning groups errands by map region instead of crossing the valley repeatedly.
Daily route planning
A strong Stardew day is usually a strong map loop. Put gifts, shops, fishing, quests, and resource stops into one path.
- Town routes handle shops, birthdays, quests, and Community Center trips.
- Mountain routes combine Robin, the mines, lake fishing, Linus, and Adventurer's Guild errands.
- Forest and Beach routes cover forage, fishing, ranch errands, Wizard access, and festivals.
Unlock regions
Desert and island access change what a week can contain. These regions introduce new resources, fish, shops, combat routes, and perfection requirements.
- Bus repair opens the Desert, Oasis, Skull Cavern, and Desert Trader.
- Boat repair opens Ginger Island, Golden Walnuts, Volcano Dungeon, and Qi's Walnut Room.
- Fast travel systems reduce the cost of splitting a day across distant regions.
