Stardew Valley Perfection Waivers and Fizz
Perfection Waiver guide for Stardew Valley 1.6 Fizz, Joja Special Services, Perfection Tracker unlock, watery cave location, 500,000g per 1% perfection progress, non-item waiver behavior, Gold Clock and Obelisk comparison, 99% perfection decisions, Summit unlock, and post-perfection rewards.
Quick facts
Fizz appears after the player interacts with the Perfection Tracker in Qi's Walnut Room and then receives his letter.
Each Perfection Waiver costs 500,000g and grants 1% progress toward Perfection.
A Perfection Waiver is not a normal item; buying one applies the progress directly.
Unlock Fizz after checking perfection
Fizz is tied to the Perfection Tracker, not early Ginger Island exploration. The route starts in Qi's Walnut Room, then moves to the watery cave on Ginger Island after the Joja Special Services letter.
- Interact with the Perfection Tracker in Qi's Walnut Room.
- Read Fizz's letter the next day.
- Meet him in the Ginger Island Mushroom Cave where Professor Snail is initially found.
Buy percentage only after an audit
A waiver is useful when gold is easier than the remaining checklist. It is weaker when the missing work is a cheap recipe, a quick fish, one shipped item, or a friendship route already close to complete.
- Use the tracker and collection tabs before buying.
- Compare 500,000g per percent against time-locked or high-friction goals.
- For Gold Clock and Obelisks, decide whether building utility matters more than the cheaper waiver math.
