Stardew Valley Monster Eradication Goals
Adventurer's Guild Monster Eradication Goals guide for kill counts, eligible monsters, Gil rewards, reward effects, and farming routes.
Quick facts
The Adventurer's Guild tracks kills for selected monster categories on the wall near Gil.
When the allotted count is complete, Gil gives the reward; previously earned rewards can later be purchased from Marlon.
Several rewards are build-defining rings, including Slime Charmer Ring, Burglar's Ring, Crabshell Ring, and Napalm Ring.
Reward priorities
The fastest payoff usually comes from goals whose rewards improve future combat. Dust Sprites unlock Burglar's Ring for better drops, Slimes unlock Slime Charmer Ring for safety, and Serpents unlock Napalm Ring for faster Skull Cavern clearing.
- Prioritize Dust Sprites if coal, loot, and long-term monster farming matter.
- Prioritize Slimes if Skull Cavern or Tiger Slime damage keeps interrupting runs.
- Prioritize Serpents once Skull Cavern routes are already stable enough to farm them.
Route planning
Monster goals are easiest when paired with an existing resource route. Repeat elevator floors for early Mines targets, treat Skull Cavern goals as part of deep-run prep, and fold Magma Sprites into Volcano Forge material trips.
- Low-count cosmetic goals such as Skeletons, Duggies, and Rock Crabs can be cleaned up between ore routes.
- Mummy progress is smoother when bombs or explosive ammo are already in the bag.
- Magma Sprites should be combined with Cinder Shard, Forge, and Volcano chest routes.
