Secret Woods is entered from northwest Cindersap Forest after clearing the large log with at least a Steel Axe.
Six daily Large Stumps provide 12 Hardwood, including two hidden lower stumps reached through covered passages.
Old Master Cannoli trades one Sweet Gem Berry for a Stardrop, while the pond supports Woodskip and the woods also host seasonal forage.
Unlock the daily route
Secret Woods becomes valuable the moment the Steel Axe opens the log. Treat it as a compact daily loop: clear stumps, check forage, handle Slimes, and decide whether the pond or statue route fits the day.
- Upgrade to Steel Axe before heavy Stable, house, or Giant Stump planning.
- Clear all six Large Stumps for the full 12 Hardwood per day.
- Use Mahogany Seed drops to build a second Hardwood source on the farm.
Finish the rare rewards
The woods also hold several one-time or rare-value rewards: Sweet Gem Berry for Old Master Cannoli, Bear's Knowledge from Secret Note #23, Woodskip for bundles, and Lost Items Shop recovery after 1.6.9.
- Grow a Sweet Gem Berry before selling every Rare Seed crop.
- Bring Maple Syrup during the Strange Note route for Bear's Knowledge.
- Catch Woodskip and remember Secret Woods can recover some unique lost items.
