Stardew Valley Wizard Buildings, Obelisks, and Gold Clock
Wizard Buildings guide for Stardew Valley Magic Ink unlock, Junimo Hut, Earth Obelisk, Water Obelisk, Desert Obelisk, Island Obelisk, Gold Clock, Wizard Tower building book, perfection tracker requirements, obelisk materials, Gold Clock behavior, and late-game build order.
Quick facts
Wizard Buildings unlock after completing the Dark Talisman and Goblin Problem quest chain and returning Magic Ink.
Perfection requires Earth, Water, Desert, and Island Obelisks for 4%, plus the Gold Clock for 10%.
The four required Obelisks plus Gold Clock cost 13,000,000g before materials.
Unlock the building book
The Wizard's construction book is a late-game gate, not an ordinary Robin menu. Finish the Witch's Hut chain, return Magic Ink, then plan magical buildings around gold, iridium, travel value, and perfection progress.
- Complete Dark Talisman, Goblin Problem, and Magic Ink first.
- Separate Junimo Hut crop automation from perfection-required Obelisks and Gold Clock.
- Reserve Iridium Bars, Dragon Teeth, Bananas, Coconuts, Cactus Fruit, Clams, Coral, and Earth Crystals before spending extras.
Build for travel or perfection
Obelisks are expensive, but the best one depends on the save. Desert and Island Obelisks often save the most time, while Earth and Water clean up errands, fishing, beach, mine, and town routes.
- Use Desert Obelisk for Skull Cavern and Desert Festival mornings.
- Use Island Obelisk for Ginger Island, Volcano Dungeon, Qi Room, and island farm days.
- Delay Gold Clock until its 10,000,000g cost no longer blocks higher-utility routes.
